The controlled generation of permanent forces and deformations in a structural concrete member to counteract the stresses arising from dead and live load.
Sanfield-Alga Cable T-15
Sanfield-Alga Cable T15 system put at designers and
companies disposal a wide range of cables, manufactured
with 0.6” strand of normal production, which are
able to cover the stressing forces and the anchorage
types widely required by the actual post-tensioning
technology.
Features:
Compact anchorages with casting units, without conical shapes, with more distribution surfaces, slots with hexagonal encasing to make their laying easier.
Linking cone for normal & enlarged ducts.
Arrangement for frontal or lateral grouting.
More space for reinforcing & concreting in the end block.
Advanced tensioning jacks with integrated main pulling area, the smallest & lightest available in their field.
Sanfield-Alga Post-tensioning jacks
Post-tensioning jacks have been designed using a
new patented concept, which has allowed their
substantial reduction in the overall size and weight,
without over stressing the materials involved and working with normal hydraulic pressures.
Features:
Lightest in weight in its category which enable easy
handling and reduces the stressing cycle time by reducing
installation time.
Requires gripping length of 550-600 mm as compared to
1000-1200 mm required for other systems thereby reducing
wastage of strands to almost 50%, adding to the economy
of the project.
Sanfield-Alga Stay Cable AL 200
The SANFIELD-ALGA AL200 stay cable system has been
developed to use the modern building technologies and to
guarantee the best efficiency of the whole system.
The main points that characterize the SANFIELD-ALGA AL200
system are:
Use of unbonded strand with three primary degrees of protection
against the corrosion: wires individually hot dip galvanized,
covered with grease or wax and encased, after the stranding,
into a continuous HDPE sheath
Further protection of the bundle of parallel strands with a black
or coloured, but UV rays resistant, HDPE duct
Possible injection of the whole stay cable, or of its lower end
only, with grout or other specific anticorrosion product.
Threaded and sealed connection of the extension pipes with
the anchor head.
Watertight connection of the extension pipes with the unbonded
strand sheath by means of a rubber sleeve.
Possibility to insert the unbonded strand directly through the
head of the anchorage
Protection of each strand against the fretting with an antifretting
bush
Protection of each metallic component of the stay cable with a
proper and specific anticorrosion treatment
Possibility of tensioning all the strands simultaneously, with one
jack only, or of iso-tensioning them individually with a light
mono-strand jack
Possibility to adjust accurately the total force in the stay cable
acting on the threaded ring nut
Possibility to replace the whole stay cable or each of its strands
individually.
